mood board

 
While i was creating the story board my partner Lucas created the mood board. through each picture describes different scene and emotion we want to create during our movie.our main goal for this mood bored was to create a sense of mystery and horror that represents our movie elements.

The photos on the far left side each respersent an elements we want to incorporate in our movie. The top left photo shows a binocular view of a dark and gloomy nighttime scene, which we want to show in our movie to emphasize the effect that Eric the bird watcher is kind of lost in these woods and it's getting dark and he won't be able to find his way back soon. In the bottom left photo is a movie called the Blair witch Project, which we took in a lot of elements from that movie and put it into our own movie like the first person point of views and the darkness of the woods.

In the second row, these three images show objects we might use any emotions. We want the audience to show when watching our short film. The top image of the twig represents the beginning of the climax of the movie and is meant to portray a important piece of that the second photo of the woman screaming emphasizes the dramatic effect that we want the bird watcher to have when seeing Ray. And the last photo of the dark woods with light barely shining through is another image that emphasizes how long Eric has been in the woods.

And now the third row the top image on the third row of the missing person is another prop we want to use. We wanted to create an effect to give the audience on why this missing person poster is so important to the plot the second image of the man tied up, represents when raised tied up to the tree. I've been average get scared and runs away, showing the emphasis of the situation and the last photo of the guy, crouching looking through the binoculars, we want to incorporate a lot of the binocular shots in the movie.

Finally, for the last row, the top image of the bird shows a dark mysterious forest scene of a crow representing how Eric has traveled much further than he originally wanted to in the dark image shows more mysterious situation than once expected. Now the second image is meant to show what kind of lighting which you want we want just enough lighting to show shadows, but also it to be dark and mysterious, so the audience doesn't know what to expect and finally the last image the last image represents Ray being tied up from his kidnapper and shows the intense scenario that Ray has gone through.
